For full disclosure: I’m an eagles fan. This blog will be heavily slanted and biased. Not that we got that out of the way… I love the birds in this spot.
We have a putrid giants team coming to Philly. As the president said “bad things happen in Philly” he’s not wrong. We’ve got some fans in the stands, and boy oh boy are they rowdy. Last week we got some of the classic Philly brawls in the stands caught on video, and I even saw a man carrying around a pigeon.
The injury bug has bitten both these teams. Obviously, no Barkley for the giants, as his acl exploded. We also have sanders out for the eagles. This will inevitably lead to Dougy P throwing the ball no less than 87 times. Wentz hasn’t looked great and the weapons are lacking. A Late game push against the ravens gave me some confidence that the eagles can move the football, but not too much confidence.
The sluggish starts in the games have caused problems for the Birds. When we look at the Giants team, they aren’t good. Plain and simple.
The NFC East is a battle of who will be the “best worst” team in football… with the winner of the division probably being under 500. This is a huge game. When you think about it. A game between these two sides and they’re generally close.
The line is set at 4.5. I think Danny Dimes fumbles no less then once,!as he’s prone to do. I think we see the Eagles take out their massive bird cocks and stuff the Giants here.
Joe Judge and his antics can fuck off. He can go roll around in the mud all he wants, but the Giants are not motivated.
