Sunday night football is either where you’re playing with house money or you’re playing catch up. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say I’m down money at this point, but thank God that we have a good game to bet on here so I can cut into my losses.
The Breakdown
We get the Cheifs and the Raiders in Sin City. The last time these guys met the raiders pulled out a win in arrow head. As I’m sure many of you have heard they drove the bus around the stadium a few times after the game for no apparent reason. I personally think that story is over blown in some ways. Big red is going to get the boys buzzing before the game whether the raiders drove a bus around parking lot or not.
I think when you look at this chiefs team they have a lot of great leaders in the locker room. this is a near must win for both teams here. the raiders really need this win for a few reasons. first they would be able to really close the gap in the AFC west. Second its bragging rights. when you get a chance to sweep the series between any team in your division you want to do that… no shit. Derick Carr and his eye liner has played really well this year and looks very comfortable in the system now.
The Raiders are really going to need to put up points at a high clip this week if they want to win. The Chiefs they need this win to stay on track, being that the Steelers have such an easy schedule the Chiefs are out of wiggle room. the Steelers maybe have one or two teams that i see could possibly upset them.
Cheifs have shown in the past they get up for games like this. i think were going to see Patty Mahomes and his cast of road runner stunt men in the wide receiver core throwing the ball all over the yard. it sounds like as of right now Sammy Watkins will be out and I’m not too worried about it.
I think they have guys in that room who have stepped up in the past and will tonight. The more I talk though this game, the more and more I love the Chiefs in this spot. i know people like homes dogs in this spot. the line is 7.5 and i HATE the hook here. i think the Chiefs win this game handedly but that .5 is lubing up the back door here for Vegas to rake in the cash here.

I feel like Vegas (the casinos) are trying to bait us into the Chiefs here and God damnit did they get me. I’m going to take the Chiefs here but I’m going to be buying the hook or a full point here. The over is just too high for me. its set at 57 and I’m concerned that Chucky goes back to his roots and run the ball and chew up clock and we end up in a game that is slow paced on one side of the ball and fast as all fuck on the other side. so take the cheifs and buy a point or a half point and thank me later when the raiders score a garbage time tuddy that fucks your buddy’s bet… but you’re the one that out smarted the public and bought the point.
